Wilma Lee McAlexander

Wilma “Willie” McAlexander, age 74, passed away peacefully in her home on October 29, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Willie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. A true nature lover, she found joy and serenity among the trees and wildlife. Whether she was “glamping” under the stars or tending to her backyard oasis, Willie’s connection to nature was a source of comfort and inspiration. Her beloved dogs, Chloe and Abby, were her constant companions, and she did an amazing job spoiling them.

Willie shared 56 years of marriage with her husband, Don McAlexander, a bond that stood as a testament to enduring love and devotion. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, adventure, and unwavering support.

She is survived by her husband, Don McAlexander; her children, Justin McAlexander and his wife, Tonya Long-McAlexander, and Shannon McAlexander and partner, Laurie; her brother, David Holmes; and her beloved grandchildren, Kaleb and Lainey, who brought immense joy to her life.

Willie’s warmth, humor, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, and in the quiet places she loved most.
