William was born in Tokyo, Japan on July 10, 1964 to David and Chiyome Dean. As the oldest son, he was deeply loved by his mother and father

After earning his master's in accounting, he decided to build a life as a Chef, where he met his wife, Bertha DeHerrera. They retired and traveled around the United States; he enjoyed traveling and visiting home.

William loved his family and grandkids deeply; He loved to play with the kids and make them laugh. William was a sweet soul with a kind heart. He was always welcoming, full of life and loved joking with others around him.

He is survived by his wife, Bertha DeHerrera, his two sons, Domnic DeHerrera and Serafin DeHerrera; his daughter, Tiffinay DeHerrera, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and his uncle and aunties Gary and Coral Dean and Nancy
