William Bill Charles Rowland

Bill Rowland 86 was born July 6, 1940 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Son of William Franklin and Genevieve Rowland, both deceased.

Bill passed away peacefully August 13, 2026 in the comfort of his own home.

Bill served in the United States Navy, toured on the USS Blakely, and retired from service with honors as a Master Chief Sonar Technician.

Bill was a Philadelphia Eagles fan and was very generous to those in need. He met Maria De Los Santos Gabaldon, our sister, and they lived together until her passing. We met Bill in the early 1990s, and we all became friends; he called us his family. He loved us, and we grew fond of Bill. Our mother gave him the nickname "El Gringo". He will be missed by us all, and with that, we say "Toodle-Od" his Irish saying.

We will meet at South Park Cemetery, Roswell, New Mexico, on August 28, 2026.

Pallbearers will be: Frank Gabaldon, Gilbert Gabaldon, Raymond Gabaldon, Ernie De Los Santos, Larry Rivera and Miguel Alonzo.
