WILFRED RODRIGUEZ

September 5, 1955 – September 11, 2026

Wilfred Rodriguez, age 71, entered eternal rest on Friday, September 11, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born on September 5, 1955, to Rogelio Rodriguez and Maxine Martinez Rodriguez.

Wilfred shared many years and countless special moments and memories with his life partner, Evelyn Martinez. Most important to them were their children, Yvonne Rodriguez (Anthony) and Vincent Rodriguez. His children were his everything, and he always did everything he could for them, even as adults.

Wilfred was a loving, giving, and hardworking person. He always knew how to make anyone laugh in any situation and had a sense of humor like no other. He loved working on cars, making trips to gather wood, and helping his friends and family whenever they needed him. He will be missed immensely.

Wilfred is survived by his life partner, Evelyn Martinez; his daughter, Yvonne Rodriguez (Anthony); his niece and nephew, whom he considered his own, Sarah Martinez (Daniel) and Elmer Flores (Vern); his grandchildren, Michael Rodriguez (Desiree), Alex Rodriguez (Dyron), Adonica Pacheco, Ashley Pacheco (Julian), Isaac Pacheco (Haylee), Vincente Jr. Rodriguez, Jerome Rodriguez, Samuel Rodriguez, and Sebedeo Rodriguez; his great-grandchildren, Alfred Rodriguez, Aurorah Rodriguez, Elijah Rodriguez, and Lavender Rodriguez; his brothers, Roger Rodriguez (Irene) and Allan Rodriguez; and his sisters, Yolanda Rodriguez (Arnold), Janet Fernandez (Rudy), Anna Denton, Trina Flores (Ruben), and Brenda Rodriguez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rogelio and Maxine Rodriguez; his son, Vincent Rodriguez; his sister, Elaine Flores; and his niece, Amanda Rodriguez.

Funeral services will be held at San Antonio de Padua Church in Peñasco, New Mexico, on September 26, 2026. The service time is to be determined. Burial will follow in Vadito, New Mexico.
