Viola Clarinda Ware, 73; was born on May 7, 1952, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Emilia and Frank Ware, and was raised in the South Valley. She passed away on April 1, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved daughter, Adelina Ware; her brothers Solomon, Frank, and Benjamin Ware; along with many cherished relatives and friends.

Viola is survived by her daughter, Roberta Chavez; her grandchildren, Angel Ware, Elijah Chavez, William Jr. Villanueva, Mariah Villanueva and Jolena Garcia; her great- grandchildren, Genesis Adelina and Asher Chavez; her guy Joe Aranda; and her siblings Anna Ware, Pauline Vega Ware and Bobby Ware.

Viola lived a beautiful and humble life. She had a light that filled every room, with a style and grace that made her unforgettable. Children, animals, and people alike were naturally drawn to her warmth. She loved dancing, her church, coffee and bible in the mornings, her music—especially oldies and K-LOVE—and never forgot a face address, birthday, number or missed a prayer before meals. Above all, she cherished her family, her friends, and her Lord.

A devoted and hardworking woman, Viola spent 25 years as a housekeeper at Presbyterian Hospital, where she touched countless lives with her kindness and compassion. She carried the stories of others in her heart and lifted them in prayer.

She found joy in Sunday church, cruising through the South Valley, sharing meals at her favorite spots, and spending time laughing, telling stories, and making memories with those she loved. Viola will always be remembered for her strength, faith, and generous spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Friends and family services and times will be shared at a later time thank you
