Vanessa D. Wilson, a cherished soul born on September 16, 1987, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, left this world peacefully on April 10, 2026, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. At 38 years of age, Vanessa’s presence was a bright light to all who knew her.

She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Mary L. Lopez; her beloved son, Malakai, and his father, Michael Pacheco; her devoted sisters, Shantel and Alicia, along with their husbands; her dear grandmother Dolores and Granny; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of friends whose lives she touched deeply. Vanessa was preceded in death by her grandfather, Perminio Lopez.

A celebration of Vanessa’s life will be held at Holy Rosary Church, located at 5414 Fortuna Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87105, at 10:15 a.m. on May 7, 2026. Following the service, family and friends will gather for a reception to honor her memory.

Vanessa’s spirit and the joy she shared remain forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
