Tom "TA" Sukohl, 64, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on April 22, 2026. Born on December 26, 1961, in Morris, Minnesota, Tom lived a life defined by his love for others, his unwavering loyalty, and a jovial spirit that drew people to him wherever he went.
Tom proudly served our country in the Marine Corps, carrying the same dedication and discipline into every chapter of his life. He was a devoted husband to Tracy, a loving father to his sons Ryan and David, and a constant, caring presence within his extended family. Those who worked alongside him knew him not just as a colleague but as a true friend and a valued contributor to his leadership team. Tom had a way of making everyone around him feel important, and his relentless pursuit of loving all people left a lasting impression on every life he touched.
When he wasn't spending time with family, Tom could be found tending to his home or riding his motorcycle. He was an avid horticulturalist and outdoorsman who found peace and joy in the natural world.
Tom was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Sukohl, and his mother, Mae Sukohl. He is survived by his wife, Tracy Sukohl; his sons, David Hogbin and Ryan Sukohl; his brother, Randy Sukohl; and his sisters, Bonnie Hill, Vicki Hoffman, and Kerry Aurzada.
TA loved every person he knew, considering all of them his friends. The Sukohl family wishes for each of you to know how dear all his family and friends were to him. You were always in his thoughts and prayers.
May Tom rest in the loving arms of the Lord, whose grace he trusted and whose love he reflected so faithfully in his daily life.
Visitation and funeral services will be held within the chapel of Trujillo Family Funeral Home at 110 Alvarado Dr. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108, on May 4, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
