Terry Lee Lujan Sr.
Terry Lee Lujan Sr., 66, passed away peacefully at his home in Edgewood, New Mexico, on April 20, 2025. Born in Los Alamos, NM in 1959. Terry was a proud graduate of Los Alamos High School and lived a life full of warmth, humor, and connection with those he loved.
Terry dedicated much of his career to Smith’s Grocery Store, where he worked until his retirement. His true passions, however, shone through in his hobbies: he was a terrific golfer and bowler, a skilled horseshoe pitcher, and a sharp pool player, loved fishing always bringing enthusiasm and camaraderie to every game.
Terry is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Cheryl Lujan, and their two sons, Terry “TJ” Lujan Jr. and Dusty Lujan, all of Edgewood, NM. He also leaves behind his sister, Marty Montoya, of Lubbock, TX; his brother Rickt Lujan and his wife Loretta of Aurora, CO; his sister-in-law, Sandy Boyer-Kingston, of Eden, NC; sister-in-law, Lisa Boyer, of Albuquerque, NM; nephew Paul Montoya and his wife and daughter of Corpus Christi, TX; his niece Vanessa Montoya of Lubbock TX; his nephew Jared Lujan and his children and grandkids of Denver CO; his niece Crystal McDermott and her husband Mac and their two children of Broomfield, CO; his niece, Christetta Boyer, of Azle, TX; and a host of cherished pets, including dogs, cats, chickens, a pot-belly pig, and a miniature goat, all of whom brought joy to his life. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Noe Lujan, his mother, Patricia Lujan, and brother-in-law Leroy Montoya.
Terry’s love for his family, friends, and animals was boundless, and his infectious spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
