Suzanne Elizabeth Nevarez peacefully passed away on October 02, 2026, in Albuquerque New Mexico. She was surrounded by all the love from her husband, mother, kids and grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Garley.

Suzie is survived by her husband, Felipe Nevarez, their 5 children, Erica, Vince, Felipe, Isaac and Elizabeth, their 10 grandchildren and her mother, Reina Garley.

Suzie is adored by many and left an impression at first meeting. She lived a life that was worth writing a book about. She loved her family more than anything in the world. After decades of battling every health roadblock thrown at her she never gave up fighting until the very end. Ultimately, the time came to take her home to her dad and so many other loved ones. She was as bright as a sunflower, as colorful as a peacock, delicate like a butterfly and as dedicated as a mama bear.

She will be missed through and through and loved for eternity.

Services will be at St. Therese Church on October 16, 2026, Located at 3424 4 th St NW Albuquerque, NM 87107 Funeral Mass @ 9:00am Reception to follow @ 10:30am in the St. Therese Gymnasium
