Stanley Robert Selva

Stanley Robert Selva, 73, (Stan), passed away Sunday evening Nov.2, 2025.

Stan was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on May 22, 1952. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Shirley (Kipp) Selva. Stan is survived by his daughter Crystal, grandsons Samuel and Ujio, granddaughter Yuri, and his siblings Kathryn, Brad, and Cole.

Stan graduated from Highland High School in 1970 and followed this time with service in the United States Marine Corp.. After the service, Stan became an accomplished electrician and worked on many commercial projects throughout the southwest. After an accident to his father in 1986, Stan became a full-time caregiver.

Stan was an excellent mechanic and was involved in many projects where he was known for making the most out of the least. Later in life, Stan became heavily involved in the sprint car racing community, where he was well known and liked by all. Stan's special place was when he could be helping in some capacity in the racing community, whether it was hauling clay to the track, fixing the lights, or especially setting up the car for the night's events.

 A reception and celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 14, at 1:00 PM at 192 Willow Rd NW.
