Rudy John Encinias

August 19, 1962 – March 29, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rudy John Encinias, a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend, who left this world on March 29, 2026. Rudy was born on August 19, 1962, to Elisa and Bernardino B Encinias in Las Vegas, New Mexico.

Rudy was a passionate guitar player and songwriter who enjoyed playing his guitar.

Rudy had a good heart, always caring for the people around him. His daughter, grandchildren, and his mother were especially very dear to his heart. Rudy is survived by his daughter, Sonya Sisneros, grandsons, Daniel, Noah, and Jayden, his mother, Elisa Encinias, sisters, Sylvia Abeyta and Antonia Romero, and brothers, Thomas Encinias and Jr Encinias; one nephew, Tony Abeyta, Jr.; six nieces, Michelle Richards, Holly Encinias, Alicia Romero, Ashley Encinias, Nadine and Felicia Encinias, friend Cindy Sisneros; several great nieces and nephews as well as many other family members and friends who loved and will miss him.

Rudy was preceded in death by his brother Michael Encinias and father Bernardino B. Encinias.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the Trujillo Family Funeral Home Chapel, beginning at 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 10:00 am at Risen Savior Catholic Church, 7701 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. Interment will follow the mass at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE Albuquerque, NM 87109.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Encinias, Anthony Abeyta, Jr, Anthony Abeyta, III, Esperanza Romero, Daniel Garcia, and Anthony Sisneros.
