Ronald Lee Vessells, age 76, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque.

Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked for many years as a car salesman and was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Vessells and Betty Grebe; his brother, Wayne Vessells; and his grandchildren, Josalin Cisneros and Anjel Cisneros.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 34 years, Jeanette Vessells; his children, Chelsie Olmos and spouse Diego Olmos, Joanna Batsel and spouse Brett Batsel, and Nicole Cisneros and spouse Sal Cisneros, Katarina Marquez. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Luke Olmos, Augustine Olmos, Isabella Olmos, Sky, Kenneth Eliasar Jr. Cisneros, Elena Cisneros, Christopher Mathew Trujillo, Isaiah (Bob) Paul Trujillo, and Mia Faith Cisneros.

He is also survived by his sibling, Bill Vessells, and his best friend, Daniel Leyba, and spouse Leslie.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Legacy Church East Location, 4701 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Mathew Trujillo and Isaiah Paul Trujillo. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Sal Cisneros and Daniel Leyba.

Ronald will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
