Ronald F. Gallegos, born on March 9, 1944 in Cuba New Mexico, passed away surrounded by love and family at his home. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Jose (Joe), Aurora (Dora) Gallegos and his dear brother, Walter.

Ron is survived by his devoted soulmate of 34years, Theresa Abeyta, who stood by his side with unwavering love. He leaves behind his cherished siblings—Priscilla, Pamela husband David, Judy and husband Leroy, Floyd and wife Maryrose, Robert and wife Lydia, Johnny and wife Gregoria—along with his three stepchildren: Anthony and wife Terese, Melissa and husband Tony, and Greg and wife Deanda.

A proud grandfather, Ron was a guiding light to his 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was a constant presence in their lives, whether coaching from the sidelines or cheering them on with pride and joy.

Ron dedicated over 30 years of service to General Electric as a skilled plastic mold fabricator. In his younger years, he found joy on the softball field, often playing alongside his brothers Johnny and Robert. He also loved the peace of fishing and the warmth of camping trips with his family.

Known for his generosity and dependability, Ron was the kind of person you could always count on. His legacy is one of love, support, and unwavering commitment to family.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

The Holy Rosary and visitation for Ron will be held at Trujillo’s Family Funeral home on July the 7 th from 6pm to 8pm and the mass of the Resurrection will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church 562 Atrisco Dr SW 87105 on July the 8 th at 9am.
