Rohanna Rebecca Muth, born in Middletown, Ohio, in 1940 to Floyd William Lockard and Bernice Purdy, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many, passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Daniel Muth, and her daughter, Helen Schubert Muth. She is survived by her loving children, Rosalind Girard, Michael Muth, and Briana Tarantino, in addition to her grandchildren: Daniel Heitmeyer, Ilona and Stella Mitchell, and Rowan Muth.
Rohanna lived a rich and vibrant life, guided always by deep affection for her family, her many dear friends, and the animals she lovingly cared for over the years — especially the dogs and cats that brought her so much joy.
An accomplished stained glass artist, writer, and marketing executive, Rohanna brought creativity and curiosity into everything she did. She studied History of Art at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, and later earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from UC Santa Cruz, continuing a lifelong love of learning and culture.
She found beauty everywhere — in a garden, in a well-cooked meal, in a piece of music or a slant of sunlight through colored glass. Her spirit was whimsical, yet grounded in a deep spiritual path. She had a sharp mind, a quick wit, and a laugh that was both knowing and contagious.
Rohanna gave freely — her time, her talents, her heart. She touched the lives of all who knew her with her generosity, wisdom, and boundless creativity. Her memory will live on in the many people she loved and inspired.
