Roberto "Bob" Diolazo, aged 64, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, after a prolonged illness. Born on November 28, 1961, in Kingsville, Texas, Bob was predeceased by his parents, Tedorico and Juana Diolazo, and his infant brother, Rudy Diolazo.

Bob is survived by his partner of 11 years, Daniel Chavez; his sisters, Marcella Moralez (Toby), Priscilla Diolazo-Lopez (Richard), and Gloria Saavedra (Vincent); as well as many nieces and nephews including Lonnie Hernandez Jr. (Krysti), Rudy Anaya, Alicia Anaya (Robert Daniels), Juanita Saavedra, Ginnie Flores (Richard), Melissa Stump (Sam), Felicia Baca (Adrian), and Joey Moralez (Summer). Though Bob had no children, he was blessed with numerous grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, and great-grandnephews. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs, Lucy, Pancha, and Chica.

In his professional life, Bob took great pride as a manager in the hospitality industry, earning love and respect from his staff. He enjoyed cooking and had a passion for visiting casinos during his leisure time.

His family extends heartfelt gratitude to the medical professionals at Lovelace Medical Center Downtown and the staff at Life Spire Assisted Living and Hospice for their compassionate care.

A viewing and Rosary service are scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Trujillo Family Funeral Home, 110 Alvarado Drive SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. Details of the Funeral Mass and burial services will be announced later.
