Robert was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Gilbert and Albertina Carabajal, and his maternal grandfather Clyde Crespin.
Robert is survived by his mother Debbie Crespin (Epi Atencio), his father Ray Carabajal, brothers Anthony, Joseph and Gilbert Carabajal, his sister Rachael Carabajal; and her son, Cole Castillo. grandmother Saturnina Crespin, and numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Robert graduated from Cuba High School where he was active in sports. Robert loved sports since he could talk; his teams were the Chicago Bulls for basketball and the San Francisco 49ers for football. His favorite color was red, same color as his teams. Robert also loved music, he always had his headphones on, whether walking in town or elsewhere. Everyone I've talked to tells me Robert always said hi to them and that they prayed for him.
Services will be held in Cuba, New Mexico. They will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church, Highway 550 Main Street, Cuba, New Mexico 87013. Date and time are pending and will be announced here.
Pallbearer: Joseph Carabajal
Honorary pallbearers are: Lil Joe, Dominic, Elijah, Brandon, Noah, Victor, Natalie, Monique, Brooklyn and Bella.
