Rita had a giving heart and it was demonstrated in her actions of offering her home for people to stay while they were needing help. She loved babies, children and animals, from puppies to pink piglets. Known to be a little feisty, she always stood her ground. She had a hard life with many medical and health problems, but she never let it stop her from hard work and serving others. She was active in her church and helped clean it until she was physically unable. In her final days, she still demonstrated love and expressed care for young people.
