Richard Adelaido Quintana Sr.

“Q-Man”

Richard A. Quintana Sr. beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather,

brother and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 2,

2026. He is preceded in death by his parents Adelaido and Angelina Quintana,

brother Arthur Quintana, sisters Mary Ann Quintana and Elsie Marrujo

He is survived by his wife Kathy Quintana, daughter Monica and husband Larry

Crespin, son Richard A. Quintana Jr. & Elizabeth, grandchildren Noelle Crespin,

Charity Crespin, Levi Crespin, Damien Quintana, David Quintana, Aria Quintana,

and Jayden Quintana, great grandchildren Azariah Crespin-Cota, Edenia Crespin, And 

Za'Mira Crespin.

sister Mary and husband James Romero, special cousin Joann Gallegos, as well as

many nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.

Richard was born November 24, 1953 in Las Vegas New Mexico. At the age of 18

he moved to Albuquerque where he met his wife Kathy. He worked for

Albuquerque Public Schools and in construction. Richard was a kind and gentle

soul. He loved his family and adored his grandkids. He enjoyed fishing, playing

basketball, and watching wrestling and football. He will be greatly missed, but his

legacy will carry on in the hearts and minds of all who knew him.

The family would like to express our sincerest thanks to family and friends for

their kindness and support.

A Celebration of life service will be held on August 21, 2026 at Sagebrush Church

NE campus, 7500 Montgomery Blvd NE, Albuquerque NM 87109 at 2pm.

Reception to follow at Holiday Park Community Center, 11710 Comanche Rd Ne Albuquerque New Mexico 87111
