With love and gratitude for a life well-lived, we celebrate the memory of Richard O. Gonzales, age 74, of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Richard passed away on June 8th, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and music that will continue to inspire all who knew him. Richard was known for his incredible sense of humor and joyful spirit. He had a gift for making people laugh, and his playful nature brought happiness to everyone he met. Music was one of his greatest passions—he loved to play, to listen, and to share it with others, creating memories that will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He was also the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan, cheering them on with unwavering loyalty every season. He is survived by his loving wife, Josie, his son, Richard Jr. (Leelee); his daughter Lisa, her husband David; and his daughter Angelica; his cherished grandchildren: Jasmine, Brandon, Joshua, and Damian; and adored great-grandchildren Mateo, Maia, and Misael. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved deeply and who brought great joy to his life. Though we will miss him dearly, we rejoice in knowing that Richard is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ—whole, joyful, and surrounded by eternal love.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to all who cared for Richard during his time of need. Your kindness, compassion, and support will never be forgotten.
