Remijio Nazario Barela Jr

Remijio N Barela JR, aged 80 passed away on June 13, 2025, has gone home to be with our lord. He was a resident of Bernalillo NM for over 45 years he was preceded in death by his wife Arlene Barela, father and mother RemiJio sr, and Lucy Barela. Brother, Gabby and sisters Laura and Rita, Emilia. He is survived by his brothers emilio, ernest barela and sister fella. children RemiJio j Barela the III, Alex and wife Jackie Benally, Daughters Charlene Barela, Anastacia Barela. grandchildren sarena,damian,marissa,chanelle,angelique,Natacia,Augustina,Ashley.great grandcildren lesette, alexis, neveah, abryiana’rose, Melvin, shane, Jacob, Isabella, Diandre, Adrian, Armondo. great great grandson LIL Zaidyn Remijio Barela.

Remijio lived a very humble life, he was always truly kind and generous, he thought of others before himself. He always made sure we thank God every day for the blessings we receive. for him family and being able to help others was always a blessing for him. He honorably served his country in the United States army.

Services will be held June 26, 2025 at 9:00 am at Trujillo family funeral home,110 Alvarado dr se Albuquerque nm 87108.

A rosary to be recited interment will follow the services at the Santa Fe national cemetery,501 n Guadalupe St, Santa Fe nm where RemiJio will be laid to rest with military honors.

The Pallbearers will be Zachariah Jaramillo, Lorenzo Hernandez, Eddie Hernandez, L.J Hernandez, Diandre Sanchez, Adrian Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers will be Lesette Orozco, Alexis Barela.
