Rebecca Alicia Vigil

Rebecca Alicia Vigil peacefully went Home to be with Jesus, surrounded by her loving family and friends, on Thursday, November 27, 2025.

Rebecca was born on October 17, 1997, to Steve Vigil and Ana (Medina) Vigil in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Rebecca was a sweet soul with a soft and generous heart. She was loved by all her family and friends. She loved cooking and her special dishes, being posole and egg rolls, and fried rice. She loved all kinds of music and played cello in her school years; she loved driving around Albuquerque and would enjoy the views. She spent a lot of time hanging out with her loved ones. Her laugh was unique and contagious. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She enjoyed traveling and experiencing new things. She loved spending time with her daughter and making memories with her.

Rebecca is preceded in Heaven by paternal grandparents, Arturo and Eva Vigil, maternal grandparents, Luis and Bernice Medina, Uncle Larry Vigil, Uncle Christopher Medina, Uncle Mike Sisneros; Aunt Maryann Tafoya, and Cousin Mikaela Naylon.

She is survived by her parents, Steve and Ana Vigil, her sister, Emily E. Vigil (Brian Chavez), and her daughter, Ameeya Rose Paisano, and Ameeya’s father, Dominic Paisano, along with his immediate and extended family. She is also survived by uncles and aunts: Olga Peyton Vigil, Nancy (Rudy) Martinez, Mike (Angeles) Vigil, Ernesto Vigil, Fred (Karen) Vigil, Teresa Sisneros, Angela Medina, Anthony (Leslie) Medina, Patrick (Marnie) Medina, and Louise (Frank) Cordova, along with many cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, starting at 1:00 pm and will continue until 5:00 pm at 9534 Euclid Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112. A meal will be provided; however, please feel free to bring a dish or dessert.
