Ramona Valles Colorado, 72, passed away peacefully on July 2nd 2025 in Albuquerque, NM surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 26, 1953, in Delicias Chihuahua, Ramona was the heart and soul of her family, known for her compassion, care for others, and her famous flour tortillas.

A devoted mother of seven, grandmother of eighteen and great grandmother of two, Ramona’s greatest joy came from nurturing her family. Her famous flour tortillas were a tradition that brought together not just family, but friends and neighbors as well. Ramona’s homemade cooking skills were legendary.

Ramona was blessed with a large and loving family. He married Isidro Saenz Soto on June 01, 1970 in Camargo, Chihuahua.

Ramona is survived by her husband, Isidro Saenz Soto of 55 years & her seven children:

Daughter Maria de Jesus Saenz Valles, & grandchildren Hugo Alberto, Jocelyn Esmeralda & Josue Prieto Saenz.

Son Vidal Saenz Valles, wife Ramona Salcido, grandchildren Karina Yvonne & Vidal Alexandro Saenz Salcido & great grandchildren Melanny Guadalupe & Juan Diego (deceased) Galindo Saenz.

Son Leopoldo Saenz Valles, wife Monica Rodrigues, and grandchildren Angela, Gerardo & Roxana (deceased) Saenz Rodrigues

Son Juan Carlos Saenz Valles, wife Irene Saenz & grandchildren Abigail & Juan Manuel Saenz Lozoya

Son Isidro Saenz, wife Rosa Maria Saenz Melendez, and grandchildren Samuel Isidro , and Andrea Saenz Melendez

Son Julio Saenz, wife Susan Moore, and grandchildren Julio Cesar , Andres, and Jaylah Saenz Moore

Son Ramon Saenz, wife Lluvia Bencomo, and grandchildren Ayleen, Ramon Isidro, and Raudel Saenz Bencomo.

A visitation will be held Sunday July 13th, 2025 from 10:00am to 10:00pm at Trujillo’s Funeral Home at 110 Alvarado Dr SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108
