Rachelle "Shelley" Fields

Shelley passed away Tuesday, July 7th in Albuquerque, New Mexico after a long battle with terminal illness.

Shelley was born in 1957 in Ontario, Oregon to Hubert “Buster” and Sally Fields. She graduated from Ontario High School in 1976 before earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of New Mexico College of Nursing, Class of 1992.

Shelley had various jobs throughout her life from running a flower shop to an eventual career in nursing, serving the Albuquerque area as both an Emergency Room and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse. Throughout her years in healthcare, she cared for countless patients and families.

Shelley is survived by her brother, Jack Fields; her children, Sam and Hannah Greenblatt; and their father, Eric Greenblatt.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date and will be held in Ontario, Oregon where she will be laid to rest alongside her parents.
