In Loving Memory of Priscilla Paiz
Priscilla Paiz was born on June 18,1952 in her family home in Santo Domingo Pueblo. On October 7, 2026 at the age of 74, she was called back home to the Lord and departed peacefully in her sleep. Also known as "Precious", she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, family and friend. She was married to Carlos Paiz, her lifetime partner until his demise on September 27, 2002. Priscilla remained loyal, never remarried and committed her love to her husband. During their time together, they worked hard on building their family business and raising their family.
Priscilla loved helping people. She was a person of profound goodwill, always choosing to the see the best in others and offering help without expecting anything in return. Her devotion to her family, friends and those in need was unsurpassed.
She cherished her family and was especially fond of her grandchildren. Grandma was known for her great sense of style. She loved her red hair, black nail polish, her bling bling, animal prints and always wore a nice pair of sunglasses. She loved dancing, listening to music and enjoyed classic rock, the oldies, hip hop and loved listening to her grandson's band. She loved watching and cheering on her grandson and granddaughter while they competed in sports. Priscilla loved dressing up for Halloween. She had a great sense of humor and she made us laugh hard.
Above all else, Priscilla loved her family. She loved them deeply and wholeheartedly and she will be remembered for her kindness, her selflessness and the dedication she showed to those closest to her.
She is preceded in death by her parents Nicholas Lucero and Reyes Lovato, brothers Alfred and Melvin, sister Bertha and husband Carlos Paiz.
Priscilla is survived by her children Edgar Lucero, Carrie Lucero, Keith Paiz, Kevin Paiz, Valerie Gonzalez and Victoria Paiz. She was blessed with her grandchildren Rache, Kiara, Shanna, Heaven, Esperanza, Summerstar and Zayan. Her great grandchildren Deija,Demitri, Dakari and a baby boy on the way. She is also survived by her brothers Pedro and Kalvin and sister Margaret. As well as a large extended family of son in laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends who will carry her memory forward.
Rest peacefully, Priscilla. Until we meet again in Heaven, you will be forever loved, deeply missed and always, always remembered.
