her in death, together with sisters, Bernadette “Tappy” Nevarez and Esther
Gonzales. She is also preceded in death by nephews Joe “Jojo” Torres, Donald

In Polly's early life she enjoyed being a eldest sibling and often spoke about
her favorite memories of going to her grandparents house. Enjoying the ice
skating rink and watching parades throughout the town of Las Vegas, New
Mexico. She graduated from Robertson High School in 1967. Shortly after she
moved to Albuquerque where she spent the rest of her life raising her children
and enjoying the life of being a grandmother and great-grandmother.
She also took pride in her job at the United States Postal Service and retired
after 30 years. One of the many places you could have found Polly was her playing
Bingo, playing slot machines and being at the softball field cheering on
her son, Marcos and his daughters around New Mexico and many other states.

Polly will be fondly remembered for her sense of humor and dedication to her
family. Polly loved her Facebook recipes, attending softball games, traveling to
Nevada with her son Marcello, feeding the neighborhood cats, collecting owls
and painted rocks and receiving handmade sewn items from her granddaughter Paloma.
