Pedro J. Placencio

Pedro J. “Pete” Placencio of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on 10/24/2025 surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 3 in Albuquerque, Pete dedicated many years of service to the City of Albuquerque Parks and Recreation Department, where he was a valued member of the Wells Park community. Known for his kindness, humor, and hard work, Pete touched the lives of many and left behind lasting friendships wherever he went.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alberto L. Placencio & mother, Sara C. Placencio, his siblings and grandson. He is survived by his three children Pete & wife Jennifer, Shirae & husband Joseph, and Joshua & wife Justine and grandchildren as well as his four siblings. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A celebration of life with be held at his home in his cherished neighborhood on 11/01/2025 at 2pm.
