Paul Steven Villegas, 70, of Albuquerque, NM, died peacefully in his home on September 26,
2023.
He was born in Santa Fe, NM, on the 28th day of April, in 1953 to David and Eloisa Villegas and
was one of nine children. Paul attended Albuquerque High School before joining the Army in
1971.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents David and Eloisa Villegas, his siblings Teresa Garcia
and Joseph Villegas, Sister-in-laws Julie Villegas, and Judith Engen, his son Daví Villegas, and is
survived by his family, Severo and Geraldine Chavez, David Villegas, George and Carole Saiz,
Patricia Villegas, Paul and Monalisa Aragon, Mark and Mary Kay Villegas, his children Shannon
Villegas, Joseph Villegas and Erica Villegas, his grandchildren Antonio Villegas, Yvette Villegas,
and Armando Villegas, his goddaughter Joann Sanchez, and his many nieces, nephews, and great
nieces and nephews.
