Paul Griego

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Paul Griego, age 43, who went home to be with the Lord on April 23, 2025. A beloved son, brother, husband, father, father-in-law, and grandfather, Paul is remembered for his remarkable vocal talent, gentle spirit, sharp sense of humor, and strong work ethic.

Born to Pete and Paula Gomez as the first of five children in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Paul dedicated over 20 years to his career as a general contractor and musician. He leaves behind a loving family, including his parents, Pete and Paula Gomez; his devoted wife, Monica Griego; and his six children: Isaiah Garcia and wife Shanice Garcia, Savannah Montano, Deveny Zubia, Nevaeh Griego, and twins NovaRae and PaulRey Griego. He is also survived by his cherished grandson, Rocky Garcia, and his siblings: Gabriel Gomez, Jerimiah Gomez, Ezekiel Gomez, and sister Mariah Gomez de Edmands and her husband, Axel Edmands.

Paul's impact on the lives of those he knew was immeasurable, and he will be deeply missed by all who loved him. As we remember Paul, may we find comfort in the words: "For I am sure that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love.
