It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Patricia
Vallejos-Marshall, a cherished wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
Patricia was born on December 11, 1958, in Tularosa, New Mexico, and she
peacefully departed this life on July 25, 2025, in her home in Rio Rancho, New Mexico
Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Johnny Marshall; her beloved son,
Robert Lee, and his wife, Catherine; her step-son, Johnathon; her adored
grandchildren—Alex, Andre, AJ, Ambrose, and Aliana; her brothers, Joseph
Anthony, sister-in-law Jenifer, Chris, Stephen, and John J. (Ernestine), and
Richard (Mary Louise). She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny J. and
Lupe Vallejos, as well as her brother Kenneth J. Vallejos and step-daughter
Renee.
A woman of warmth, kindness, and resilience, Patricia made a significant impact
on the lives of everyone she encountered. Her nurturing spirit and vibrant
personality leave an enduring legacy in the hearts of her family and friends.
Patricia was a treasured soul whose kindness and warmth resonated with all she
met. An avid reader, she was always excited to delve into new stories and learn
from the various chapters of life. Her lively presence extended beyond her
passion for literature—she loved connecting with friends and family on
Facebook, spreading joy and brightening their days.
Patricia’s affection for her numerous cousins was boundless. She valued the time
spent together, always ready to share laughter, stories, and support. Her warm
demeanor and sincere care forged lasting bonds, and her love for her family was
a testament to her generous spirit. To Patricia, her cousins were not just relatives;
they were her friends, confidants, and an essential part of her joyful existence.
Patricia was deeply cherished by her colleagues and teachers, who appreciated
her unwavering dedication and warm spirit. For years, she was more than just a
coworker; she was a trusted friend and confidant to many. Her kind words,
genuine encouragement, and collaborative nature fostered a positive and
nurturing environment where everyone felt valued. Patricia’s passion for her work
and her supportive presence left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure
of working alongside her, cementing her place in their hearts both professionally
and personally.
A celebration of her life will take place at San Miguel Church in Socorro, New Mexico on August 8th at
10:00 AM, followed by a burial in Polvadera, where friends and family can come
together to honor her memory and the beautiful moments they shared.
Rest in peace, Patricia. Your love and light will forever be cherished in our hearts.
