Patricia “Patti” Mares Urioste, born on May 21, 1947, peacefully ascended to eternal life on July 15, 2026. A gentle spirit, Patti was a beacon of kindness and grace, selflessly giving of herself and asking for nothing in return.

Her legacy continues through her devoted family: her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren—Christopher Urioste Sr., Christopher Urioste Jr., Dolores Wiggins, Ricky & Beatrice Barreras, Elijah, Sophyia, Amiyah, R. Matthew & Nadine Urioste, Lorenzo Padilla, Briana and Zach Woods, Jordan Garcia, George & Isabel Urioste, Jakob, Janay Urioste, Eleanor, Alexa, Lincoln, Rowan Woods, and Antonio Urioste. She is also survived by her cherished sister Kathy Castilo and numerous beloved godchildren.

Though her physical presence is no longer with us, Patti's love remains a guiding light. Her spirit continues to nurture the hearts of those she loved. We feel her warmth and strength each day.

Dearest Patti, may you find peace in the arms of the Lord. Rest easy now—you are finally home.

A rosary will be recited on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at 10:45 a.m., with a reception at the social center.

Services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 S Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM 87004.
