Patricia “Patsy” Trujeque
July 10, 1944 – September 28, 2026
Patricia “Patsy” Trujeque, 82, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2026, surrounded by family and friends.
Born on July 10, 1944, in Albuquerque, Patsy was the daughter of Angelina Saiz and stepdaughter of Mr. J. She graduated from Albuquerque High School and briefly worked as an LPN at Presbyterian before going on to work on an assembly line at a local factory.
Patsy was known and loved for her stubborn spirit, kind heart, and wonderfully silly sense of humor. She enjoyed spending her free time traveling, at the casino, and attending church, but there was nowhere she would rather be than surrounded by her large and loving family. Her faith was an important part of her life and remained strong and unwavering from beginning to end.
Above all else, Patsy cherished her family. She loved them deeply and wholeheartedly, and she will be remembered for her honesty, her kindness, and the unmistakable way she showed her love to those closest to her.
Patsy is survived by her daughter, Robin Trujeque; her grandchildren, Stephanie Sullivan, Robert Kemper, Simon Trujeque, and Staci Knipfing; her 14 great-grandchildren; and her three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Angelina Saiz, and her son, Dennis Trujeque.
Please join us to honor Patsy with a rosary on November 17, 2026 at 6:30pm at St. Bernadette’s Church (11509 Indian School Rd, Albuquerque, NM, 87112). Her Mass will be held on November 18, 2026 at 10:00am also at St. Bernadette’s Church. Shortly after, her funeral services will be held at Mt Calvary at 11:15 am (1900 Edith Blvd NE Albuquerque, NM, 87102). And to celebrate Patsy’s life we will re-join at the St. Bernadette’s Parish Hall at noon.
Patsy leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, faith, and family. Those who knew and loved her will carry with them countless memories, along with the words she so often shared:
“I love you... not too much... just a touch.”
