Patricia Lovato

Patricia Lovato, born May 20, 1957, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents Carlos Avila and Rosemary Hernandez, Sister Tina Romero and Granddaughter Madison Andrade. Patricia is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, John Lovato and family; Erica & Chris Martinez, their children Briana, Savana and Mia Martinez; John & Laura Lovato, their children John (JP), Damian, and Xavier Lovato; Jessica & Adam Andrade, their children Bailey and Isabelle Andrade; Jennifer Lovato & Michael Garcia; and her siblings, Ernest Avila, Martin Avila, Lupita Avila, Michael Avila and Joseph Avila. Patricia is further survived by extended family members and many close friends.

Pat was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and beloved friend. Pat treasured being around those she loved. She enjoyed long conversations, joking around, loved her Dallas Cowboys and NM Lobos, dancing, camping, New Mexican music, and moments that surrounded her with great meaning, fun times, laughter, and lasting memories. She will be deeply missed.

Rosary for Patricia will be on February 17, 2026, at Santuario de San Martin at 9:15 am, with mass to follow immediately at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm at 2008 Larrazolo Rd. SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105.
