E6 TechSgt Noel Edwin Norton was born January 1, 1957, to Walter Lee and Martha Leota Currier Norton and departed this life on July 18, 2026, at the age of 69 years, 6 months and 17 days.

After high school graduation and working a few odd jobs, Noel began his career in the United States Air Force in 1983 at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, OK. He proudly served his country for 20 years before retiring in 2004.

He enjoyed going to the gym, traveling, riding his Harley motorcycle and visiting with family and friends (and sharing Facebook reels with them! IYKYK).

Noel was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Leota, his stepmother, Patsy Murphy Norton, grandparents Noel and Opal Baxter Norton, Cleemon "Red" and Lavona Harvey Currier; and uncle Robert Norton and uncle Robert Wilkinson.

He is survived by his sister Tamara Norton, brother Marty Baker; aunts Betty Kerstetter Norton and Lora Norton Wilkinson, cousins Christine Norton Henry, Michelle Norton Cleveland, David Wilkinson, Stacy Wilkinson and Dana Wilkinson, as well as extended family and a host of friends.

Interment will be at 9am (MST) August 28, 2026, at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N Guadeloupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
