Nasario was the first son born to his parents, after 10 girls. He lived and grew up in the San Jose neighborhood where he attended elementary school at East San Jose Elementary, then went on to Washington Middle School then, Albuquerque High School. After he stopped attending high school with one semester left, he completed his high school diploma from Robert F Kennedy high school in 2015 at50 years of age, which was a proud accomplishment of his. He also has quite an extensive work history which includes working for the City of Albuquerque at the sewer plant, Cunninghams Distributing, Bueno Foods, American Gypsum Company and his last job at Bimbo. His work didn’t stop there as he loved doing many side jobs working on houses installing flooring, working on sheds and cars.
Nasario had many hobbies and activities he loved to do. This included restoring exotic bicycles, dancing and singing karaoke to some of his favorite music, oldies, old country western songs, rancheras, cumbias and Elvis. One of his dreams was to visit Graceland one day. He also enjoyed watching old western movies and John Wayne. He and his wife enjoyed packing a lunch and taking a long drive somewhere, and engaging in a tennis match against one another. Nasario loved to build, work on cars, do woodworking, landscaping and working on his yard and house, and he believed that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, as he had everything anyone could need available in his shed.
Nasario was a reserved man who kept to himself but in no way hesitated to help anybody he possibly could in any way. He loved to be there for anybody no matter if the favor was big or small. A very loving and caring man who was proud of all of his children, and grandchildren, especially his wife. He adored his family and made it known. He can be remembered for so many things, but no doubt he will be remembered for his passion of dressing up for special occasions and showing up when invited, in his best clothes and hats, which he had one for every occasion. This will be something that most people would remember him by. He was also on a journey in strengthening his faith and relationship with God, and enjoyed going on Sundays to New Heights Baptist Church in Albuquerque with his wife and his bible in hand. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Lastly, his favorite quote: “I am a jack of all trades, but a master of none”.
