In Loving Memory of Monique Griego

July 20, 1996 – August 23, 2026

Monique Griego was the most beautiful, loving, kind-hearted, caring, and funny person. From the very beginning, she brought love, laughter, and joy into the lives of everyone around her. Monique always had that beautiful smile of hers, and wherever she went, she had a way of meeting people and making them feel special. She could turn someone’s frown into a smile.

Monique was Mom’s best friend and Dad’s baby girl. From day one, she was our baby girl, and she always held that special place in our hearts. She was full of love and laughter and had a beautiful spirit that touched everyone who knew her.

Monique loved her family dearly. She especially loved her brother Josh and her nephew Diego, and she was always cracking jokes with them and making them laugh. The memories they made together will forever be cherished.

Monique loved her dog Prince, whom she loved as if he were her baby. She enjoyed arts and crafts, drawing, writing, and leaving little notes for her loved ones. She loved working with children, listening to all kinds of music, and spending time outdoors. She loved Mexican food, sweet rice, and, of course, sweets.

One of Dad’s most special memories was the day Monique was born and the blessing of watching her grow from a little girl into a beautiful young woman. Mom treasured the times they spent sitting together, talking about Monique’s crazy stories, discussing her life, and making plans for her future. Those conversations are memories that Mom and Dad will hold close to their hearts forever.

Monique was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother Pauline Morales, her grandmother Christine Lujan, and her grandfather Alfredo Armijo. Their love and memories will forever remain a part of her life and the hearts of everyone who knew them.

We are going to miss her hugs, her talks, her laughter, and simply having her around. Her presence brought so much love and happiness into our lives, and there is nothing that can replace it.

Monique was our baby girl. She was deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and everyone whose life she touched. Monique leaves behind her Pompa Tonio, as well as several uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who will cherish her memory forever.

We love you more than words can say, Monique. We will miss you every single day. Your beautiful smile, your laughter, your hugs, your love, and your beautiful spirit will forever live on in our hearts.

Until we meet again, our beautiful baby girl.

We love you forever and always.
