In loving memory of Monica Tellez.

It's with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Monica Tellez, age 51, daughter of Gloria Garley. She was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on May 19, 1973. She left us to be with our Lord on April 27, 2025. She will be survived by her grandson, Francisco Maestas. Her son Daniel Tellez, daughter Lisa Hults, and her partner James Maestas. Her sister, Selina Garley, and her kids, Dominic, Angelica, and Mathew Montoya. Her stepmother, Rose Ryan, loved her like her own. And lots more cousins, family, and friends. Even to those who were not blood related that became family over the years.

Her loving, kind soul touched so many. She will forever be missed, but never forgotten. She was so kind, thoughtful, and such a giving person. She would give her last shirt off her back just to help someone in need. Her favorite Character was Mickey Mouse or Minnie Mouse. She loved to sing to Dido, Lisa Loeb, or any song with soft melodies. Her voice and presence will be missed dearly.

Her service will be scheduled later and forwarded to those who want to come. Everyone who she knew or touched is more than welcome to come. It will be a celebration of life ceremony.
