Miguel Patrick Cummings, 30, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on February 22, 2026.
Born on March 27, 1995, in Albuquerque, Miguel brought joy and warmth into the lives of everyone who knew him. He was incredibly smart, fun-loving, kind, humorous, and deeply generous. Miguel had a gift for making others laugh and feel at ease.
He had a deep love for writing and singing, using his creativity to express his heart and connect with others. Whether sharing a song, telling a story, or simply spending time with family and friends, Miguel lived with sincerity and love. His devotion to those closest to him was unwavering, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
Miguel is survived by his loving mother, Kim Trujillo of Albuquerque; his father, Michael Cummings of Boston; and his beloved sister, Solana Mia Cummings. He is also survived by his grandparents, Louis and Gloria Trujillo, Sr.; his aunts and uncles, Eileen and David Stoller; Karen Gillis Sharon & Rob Kolosseus; and Louis & Jennifer Trujillo.
He leaves behind his cherished cousins: Yliana, Natalia, & Isaac Kolosseus; Vail Tafoya Trujillo; Matthew & Ryan Stoller; Elizabeth, Tynan & Conor Cummings; Katherine, Lauren & Grace Gillis, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will carry his memory forward.
Miguel’s life, though far too short, was filled with love, laughter, creativity, and compassion. His spirit will live on in the stories shared, the songs remembered, and the love he gave so freely.
A celebration of Miguel’s life will be held on March 28th at a location to be announced by the family.
