Michael Anthony Lopez, age 66, passed away peacefully at home with his family surrounding him. He was born on July 24, 1959, to Jose Andres Lopez and Eustacia Lopez in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Margie Lopez, and his brother Andres Lopez Jr. He is survived by his sisters Lydia Perez, Nancy Jaramillo (Raymer), Cora Martinez, and Bernadette Gonzalez (Jason); his brothers Leon Lopez (Toni) and Johnny Lopez (Berna); his sister-in-law MaryAnn Lopez; and many nieces and nephews.

He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan who loved to watch his team and cheer them on with his friends and his sister and best friend, Cora. Michael loved his family deeply and will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

Services for Michael Anthony Lopez will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, at St. Clemente Church of Los Lunas, located at 244 Luna Ave NE, Los Lunas, NM 87031. Visitation and Rosary will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m.
