Mary Jane Gutierrez

Mary Jane Gutierrez was born April 4, 1942. She left this world peacefully on August 26, 2025, to be reunited with her beloved husband, Arturo; her two daughters, Sandra and Virginia; her grandsons, Arthur, Angelo, and Joshua; as well as her parents and brothers and sister. Mary leaves behind a legacy of love and strength. She was the cornerstone of our family, always ready with a warm hug and comforting words. She provided comfort, love, kindness, and her wisdom. She accepted everyone into her home without judgment but instead offered acceptance. 

Mary was survived by her son, Thomas, and daughter, Crystal; 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

We will gather to celebrate this beautiful and loving person’s life at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo, NM, on September 23, 2025, at 10:00 am, beginning with the Holy Rosary, followed by the Holy Mass at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at the Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery, after which family and friends will gather at the Our Lady of Sorrows Social Center for a reception and to share stories of her life.
