Marsha Lil (Roberts) Daly passed away on April 23, 2025, where she lived at Brio Assisted Living in Albuquerque. Her death came just a few days after observing her 80th birthday on April 18th with friends and family, including her beloved daughter, Sarah.
Born and raised in Farmington, New Mexico, Marsha Roberts was the first born child of Austin and Lois Roberts. Marsha was later joined in life by her brothers, Robbie, Randy, and Rick.
Marsha was an outstanding student at Farmington High School, where she participated in many school activities. She especially enjoyed being a cheerleader for the FHS Scorpions.
After graduating from high school, Marsha went to the University of New Mexico where she loved college. She thrived participating in a multitude of school activities, including being a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, and especially cheering for the Lobos as a member of the Chaparrals cheerleader squad.
Upon graduating from UNM with a degree in education, Marsha spread her wings and moved on her own to Lake Tahoe, where she taught school and also worked as a blackjack dealer in local casinos. While living in California, Marsha married and welcomed her daughter, Sarah, and stepson, Lukas, into her life.
Marsha eventually moved back to New Mexico where, as a single parent, she worked in the UNM records department. After retiring from UNM, Marsha lived near the UNM campus with her pets, outdoor gold fishpond, and beautiful backyard. She loved her home and yard so much, but eventually needed to move into Brio Assisted Living, where she spent her final days.
Marsha had a heart of gold and enriched the lives of those who knew her. She will be missed by all.
