Maria Consuelo "Connie" Gonzalez, age 89, joined our Lord in heaven on January 28th, 2023. Born in Albuquerque, NM, to Leonides and Maria Lopez. In 1953, she married her husband Gilbert and they spent 69 years and raised two children together. She spent the majority of her life as a homemaker, her priority was always her family. Connie lived a life of faith and love, of beauty and elegance, and of strength and wit. She was a light in our lives and she will be missed dearly.
Connie was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert and son Gilbert Jr. She is survived by her daughter Bertha Roybal, son-in-law Archie Roybal, and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 16th at Sagebrush church, 7500 Montgomery Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. Viewing will be from 11:00-11:30. Services will start at 11:30. We will then leave for Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501, where she will be buried with her husband, Gilbert Gonzalez.
