Marguerite J Bosey, 88, Albuquerque NM, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 19, 2024 in her home. Marguerite Sauzeau was born February 7th, 1936, in Elancourt, France; as the youngest of four surviving children to Jean-Eugene and Marthe Sauzeau. Marguerite was united in marriage to Donald Bosey on 21 November 1955, in Blevy-France, Donald and Marguerite moved throughout Europe and the United States while Donald was serving in the US Army. In 1975 they moved to Gallup, NM where they made their home and raised their children. Marguerite was a very proud American. Upon immigrating to the United States with her Army husband; Marguerite accomplished her goal of becoming a US citizen on March 29, 1960. She was employed as a civil servant for the GSA in Gallup and at the Kirtland AFB Transportation Squadron. A member of the The Shrine of Saint Bernadette Catholic Parish, Marguerite had a deep devotion to Jesus and cherished her daily rosary. In her free time, Marguerite liked to garden and travel and was always up for a competitive game of cards. Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Bosey on April 13th, 2005. Marguerite is survived by her 6 children; Gerald and his wife Lisa from New Hampshire, Linda Bosey-Agusstson and her husband Skuli from Kentucky, Brian and his wife Diana from New Mexico, Philip and his wife Kristi from North Dakota, Eugene and his wife Lyn from Texas, Richard and his wife Tina from Arizona, 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and an extended family in France.
A funeral mass will be held at The Shrine of Saint Bernadette in Albuquerque on 4/11/2024 at10 am. She will be buried next to her husband on 4/12/2024 at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to any veteran’s organization.
