IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Manuel Emilio "Nano"
Jaramillo
November 7, 1963 – March 27, 2026
It is with broken hearts that we announce our beloved brother gained his angel wings March 27, 2026, at 3:31am.
Manuel was born on November 7, 1963, to Filimon Jaramillo and Agnes (Delgado) Jaramillo. Raised in Socorro with five brothers and three sisters. Frank Jaramillo (Gloria), Audrey Vallejos (Steve), Robert Jaramillo (Pauline), Linda Pino (Orlando), Raymond Jaramillo, Thelma Jaramillo, Joseph Jaramillo (Patsy), Anthony Jaramillo. Several Nieces and Nephews of whom he was extremely proud. He would brag about them and how much they have all accomplished. His family was a good topic for his long conversations as he had several.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Filimon Jaramillo, Brother, Robert Jaramillo and sister Linda Pino. One of his stories during our trips to treatments was that Robert and Linda drove up in a truck for him…he said he was not ready. He also said he was not afraid to die. He was curious where his siblings were, I guess there was room for him in that truck.
Nano (as we called him) was a master carpenter/builder who found purpose and pride in every little thing he built. He created structures that will now become everlasting memories. If you were lucky enough to have him build, renovate, or gift you a project, you will see the reflection of his dedication, patience, and pride. Our Brothers work will stand for years as a testament to the care he put into everything he touched.
Manuel was someone who loved life deeply. He found joy in the simple things, long never-ending talks, laughing, and the satisfaction that he completed a hard day’s work. He lived on his own terms, and he brought a special bright light and warmth to anyone around him. If he could help you, he would, but if he could not, he would find a way. To him no one was a stranger.
He leaves behind a legacy of love for his family, especially his mom, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a brother, a friend, and a steady presence—someone you could count on, someone you could laugh with, and someone we will never forget.
You will be deeply missed brother, but your memory will live on in the lives you’ve touched and the works you left behind.
Rest easy brother. Your hands may be at rest, but your legacy is built to last.
