Born To loving parents, Oracio and Elena Maez (her "Daddy and Mamma") in Albuquerque NM.
She is survived by her loving husband John J. Sedillos (married for over 50 years.) He was her devoted caretaker during her long illness. She is also survived by 3 loving sons, Rick, John Jr., Greg and his wife Anna, 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 5 sisters, 5 brothers and many nieces and nephews.
Her life was filled with a large family and many friends. She was the "go to" person if anyone needed advice, and shoulder to cry on, or just a home to go to, sit down, have a snack and just chat. Her and John's home was and is always a place open to friends and family. What she loved: her Catholic faith, her "love" Jesus, our blessed Mother, many patron saints, prayer, family, friends, sunshine, sunflowers, hummingbirds, fishing, camping, creative art coloring, making homemade birthday cards for family during her time bedridden, alternative medicine (which she knew very well) studying and learning about her's and other's maladies to help them, a clean house, new mexico food and especially life. Please don't forget to pray for her soul. 

Services will be held on Saturday August 16, 2025. Rosary at 830 am at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Mass to follow at 9am at same location. Burial at Mount Calvary in Albuquerque.
