Lillian Coca, a resident of Rio Rancho and former resident of Taos, was called home to be with Our Lord on March 19, 2026, at the age of 78.

She is reunited in heaven with her parents, Melquiades and Beatrice Coca; her brothers, Andrew, Alex, Wayne, Gilbert, and Richard Coca; and her sister, Celina Coca.

Lillian is survived by her three loving daughters: Amy Torres-Bailin (Robert) of Colorado Springs, CO; Amanda Torres (Warren Kelly) of Taos, NM; and Michelle Padilla (Lawrence) of Rio Rancho, NM. She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Clarissa, Joshua, and Dante Martinez; Ryan Oberholser; and Michael and Laura Padilla.

She is also survived by her beloved siblings: Leo Coca (Esther), Amalia Star (David), Lorraine Coca-Ruiz (Danny), Joanne Maestas, Florina Grant (Leroy), and Kathy Pacheco (Ralph); her best friend and cousin, Julia Coca; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Lillian will be remembered for her artistic spirit and creativity, especially her love of painting and ceramic making. She found joy in dancing, spending time with friends and family, and photographing her beautiful flowers. Her devotion to her faith and deep love for her family were the foundations of her life. She gave freely of her kindness, warmth, and love, leaving behind a legacy that will live on in all who knew her.
