Larissa Lea
Sayles
May 26, 1975 — Oct 10, 2026
May 26, 1975 – October 10, 2026
It is with profound sorrow and tender love that we announce the passing of our beloved
Larissa Lea Sayles, who departed this life on October 10, 2026, at the age of 51.
Larissa was a remarkable woman whose presence was impossible to overlook and
whose absence will be deeply felt. Strong, independent, and full of heart, she had a way
of bringing warmth and energy wherever she went. Her laughter was contagious, her
smile was unforgettable, and her spirit could brighten even the hardest day.
Above all, Larissa was a devoted mother. Her children were among the greatest joys of
her life, and she loved them with a fierce, unconditional love. She gave them her
strength, her encouragement, her wisdom, and countless memories that they will carry
with them always.
Music was one of Larissa’s greatest passions. She had a beautiful voice like an angel,
and when she sang, she shared a piece of her soul. Music brought her joy, comfort, and
freedom, and her love of it became part of the memories she created with those around
her. Her voice may be silent now, but the beauty of her song will continue to live in the
hearts of everyone who heard her.
Larissa was preceded in death by her beloved grandmothers, Lula B. Smith and Hazel
R. More Hicks, and her loving mother, Anita Renel Sayles.
Larissa leaves to cherish her memory her loving father, Johnny M. Johnson; her
beloved siblings, Tikia Sayles, Ronjadele, Tena Davis, and Ernest Williams; and her
cherished children: her son, Isaac Brownridge (Angelique), and her daughters, Jasmine
Sayles, and Chantelle Wallace.
Her precious grandchildren, Myah, Isaac Jr., Princeton, Christopher, Uriah, Cattleya,
and Sayora’Kavari. Each of them will carry the warmth of their grandmother’s love, the
sound of her laughter, and the memories she gave them throughout their lives.
Larissa also leaves behind extended family members, relatives, and dear friends who
were touched by her kindness, encouraged by her strength, and blessed by her
presence. Every person who shared time with her carries a special memory of the joy,
love, and light she brought into the world.
Forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
May she rest peacefully in eternal love.
