Kyle (Oger) Orlando Yatsayte affectionately known as “KFC” Left a rough life. Although there was never a day, KFC would give up. Kyle was born March 2, 1963, in Fort Defiance, Arizona to his loving Mother Lena Yatsayte. Kyle had moved back-and-forth from Albuquerque where he also resided with his two nurturing, loving, caring sisters Joann Yatsayte & Stacey Toyi. Also, to Alamogordo, where he is remembered by his Three Beautiful Daughters.

A Roman Catholic he attended St. Anthony school and then Ramah high school. Kyle removed himself from high school and went to enlist with the US Army National Guard where he served eight years of his life. Oger was a nickname that was given to him by his grandchildren. KFC was a calm, cool collective person who always had a smile on his face no matter what the circumstance was he was a happy, genuine, funny character. Always up early ready to begin the days adventures.

KFC was well known around the Albuquerque homeless areas these people he considered family. So, to all the homeless in Albuquerque, “KFC” Loved You ALL!! KFC was an Army Veteran who was a hard-working man dedicated to his family. Everything he did was for them. He worked at a Headstart as a head cook. Children admired him every day. He also would give a helping hand to the senior citizens pretty much to anyone who needed it. KFC’s work ethic was unmatched. He was always focused, creative, clean, and most of all an amazing cook. He knew how to warm your heart. Kyle’s favorite hobbies were baking pies, turnovers, and cookies, woodburning and enjoying making wooden crosses for his loved ones. Most of all his country, music and playing dice, making people laugh (Your Roll Dad) Kyle was a magnetic force people gravitated towards him, and he accepted and loved them all.

He was compassionate, loving, caring, attentive, and most of all hilarious if you were around Kyle, you were guaranteed to laugh because he had a story for you.

Kyle loved people small, tall, short, fat, skinny he loved you He enjoyed hitchhiking from town to town seeing different sites and camping. Some of his favorite artists are Travis Tritt, Bad Company, TG Shepherd and his favorite. Fenders 2 (shi’babe).

Kyle is preceded in death by his loving mother Lena Yatsayte. He is survived by his Son, Orlando Kyle Yatsayte, Three Daughters, Kimberly, Yolanda, and Kayla Yatsayte. 13 grandchildren Christopher, Cayden, Zackerias, Zakias, Kelvin, Jyden, Kiahra, Kekoa, Nevaeh, Anesa, Dequan, Meshia, Fay Fay. Oger is also survived by his nephews Kevin and Gizmo Quam. His Niece Shyann Martza Who would take him in and bathe him, feed him and love him.

Da’de (dad) We will miss you immensely. You were our go to when life got rough. You were our sanity in this crazy world, and our comfort when we needed clarity. You are always someone we could count on because of you. We are daughters that have the hearts of a lion, the love of our family and an insane work ethic. We thank you, dad, for all the calls, wise words of advice. The love you gave us and the beautiful lives We lived because of you your hard work and your boundless love for us. We are all better people because of you Dad. We will forever keep you in our hearts with God.

Kyle Orlando Yatsayte will be laid to rest at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the United States Army Honor Guard.
