Josie Jaramillo

Josie Jaramillo, age 67, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on Thursday, November 30^th, 2023 in her home due to natural causes.

Josie was born July 28^th, 1956, in Salida Colorado to Joseph and Betty Cordova. She attended Albuquerque High School and Graduated on June 3^rd, 1974. Josie retired in 2005 from the City of Albuquerque Water Department. She attended Legacy Church and served as a volunteer in the office and was part of the Grandparent ministry. Josie was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend.  Her family was her pride and joy and she loved spending time with them. Josie is a faithful servant of Jesus Christ Her passion and love for God was shown every day. She was beautifully and wonderfully made. She was truly remarkable, she always gave everything and welcomed everyone with open arms and a pure heart. Josie showed her love to others in so many ways. Josie brought joy into the lives of everyone who was fortunate enough to have been in her presence. She touched so many hearts and made an impression. Josie was very blessed to be loved so much by so many.

Survived by her husband Joseph Jaramillo, her daughter, Valerie Gutierrez-Leos & Spouse Danny Leos Jr. Her Granddaughter, Destyni Padilla, her fiancé Joshua Apache, Grandson Robert Padilla, Great Grandchildren Jaxen Apache, and Ares Akers-Padilla. Along with her bonus children, Steven, Daniel & and Darshelle, and bonus grandchildren, Cristian, Donaven, Exavier, Dominik, Jalyssa, Daniel, Jason, Analize, Kayleb, Alex, Andrew, Alanzo, Alianah, Abraham, Aubriana, Elijah, Avayah. And bonus great-grandchildren, Josiah, Amara, and Aviana Siblings: Orlinda Lopez and husband, Eddie Lopez, Helen Valdez, Diane Cordova and Joe Vallejos, Frank Cordova and wife, Mary, Mary Cordova, and Tom Cordova.

Josie is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Franklin Cordova and Betty Veronica Cordova, her grandparents Sotario and Deluvina Pacheco, and Henry and Frances Cordova.

A celebration of life service will be held at Legacy Church EAST CAMPUS. Located at 4701 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. Services will be held on Thursday, December 14th, at 10:00 am with a reception following at Legacy Church East Campus as well. (If you would like to bring food, you are welcome to.) Any flowers can be delivered to Legacy Church East Campus.
