Joshua Israel Tijerina Terrones, born on October 28, 1987, left us February 5, 2026.

Joshua was a very good hearted person and the people who knew him knew that he was the light in the room, always making us laugh with his jokes and always had a smile on his face. He gave the biggest bear hugs and we are going to miss those smiles and hugs. He was truly a blessing to all that knew him. He was a son, uncle and a brother. He's going to be greatly missed. 

He loved kids especially his nieces that he leaves behind; Emma Quinonez and Diana Tijerina Terrones Gallegos. They were his world. He never had kids but loved them as his own. He was a great uncle. Joshua will be remembered by his love of family, his kind heart, and the many memories he created with his family and all that knew him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He is now with his father Jose De Jesus Terrones Sanchez, his sisters Diana Tijerina Terrones, Christine Monique Tijerina Terrones, Patsy Ann Romero, Manuel Alejandro Tijerina Quinonez, Carlos Daniel Tijerina Quinonez, Lorena Tijerina Quinonez, Isabel Iris Tijerina Quinonez, Manuel Barraza Quinonez. 

WHILE WE MOURN HIS DEATH, WE ARE HERE TO CELEBRATE HIS LIFE. LOVE YOU JOSH! UNTIL WE SEE YOU AGAIN. 

Joshua's Life Celebration will begin on Friday, March 13th at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church in Old Town at 10:00 am. After the mass he will be driven to Coyote, New Mexico where he will be put to rest at the Tijerina Family Cemetery.
