Joseph Roger Paz 

A devoted Son, Brother, Uncle, Partner, and nephew Passed away on July 23rd,2023 in his Home of Socorro, NM Surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 24th,1971 in Albuquerque, NM to Rosie and John R. Paz Sr.

Roger will Always be remembered for his Stubbornness and his love for Arguing. He loved his family dearly and always willing to lend a helping hand Because that was part of the Big heart he had.

When Roger wasn’t Giving his close Family and friends Havic he was a work acholic and loved traveling with his auntie Lugie and Uncle Ramon to any job and place they wanted to explore next. Roger then came back to New Mexico in 2008 as his father needed him back. He then Kept his mom on her toes with his constant requests. He had so Many Friends that he Loved to spend time with and always Loved to Smoke and Joke with Them.

Roger was welcomed in Heaven by his Dad John whom He missed Very much. Grandma Elenor and Grandpa Rogerio Baca Maternal Grandparents, and Paternal Grandparents Maria, Juan Paz.

He survived by His Mom Rosie Paz who will Miss Him Dearly, His partner Eric Salazar, His only Sister Janet Stel and Husband Johnny Myers, His two Brothers John Jr and wife Helen and Adam and Wife Michelle His 8 Nieces Jocelyn, Natasha, Natalie, Natamra, Natrice, Marina, Gabriellel Camren. His 3 Nephews Chris, Stanley, Adam 2 He had 9 Great Nieces and 6 Great Nephews Adrianna, Tristen, Lacee, Kaycee, Emiliana, Aaliyah, Makenzie, Aleyah, Amidara, Andrew, Miguel, Payton, Josiah, Grayson and Adam the Third. He had Many Loving Aunts and Uncles Whom he also Loved Dearly and everyone will Miss Him Dearly.

The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023 at 7:00 pm at San Miguel Catholic Church, 403 El Camino Real, Socorro, NM.  The Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 10:00 am with burial to follow at the San Miguel Catholic Cemetery.
